Dan joined VJAA in 2024 after graduating from the University of Minnesota with a Master in Architecture. Before pursuing an architectural education, Dan attended the University of Iowa where he acquired degrees in both Entrepreneurial Management and Marketing and worked as an independent carpenter and furniture builder. With his background in the trades, Dan has an intense appreciation and interest for tectonics and materiality, particularly for wood.
