Jeff Niemasz, Associate AIA
Jeff graduated from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design with a Master of Architecture with Distinction in 2011 and joined VJAA in 2014. Before architecture he practiced Medicine, receiving a medical degree from the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine and completing his Chief Residency at the University of Minnesota. While at the GSD, Jeff helped develop DIVA-for-Rhino, a software program enabling designers to perform state of the art environmental simulations. He continues to develop and distribute the software which is used in schools and sustainability-minded firms internationally. Jeff teaches in the College of Design with research interests in design and health, building performance, and digital workflows.
