CABLE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM

Location: Cable, Wisconsin
Client: Cable Natural History Museum
Size: 20,000 SF

The Cable Natural History Museum houses both a natural history museum and an environmental education program. The museums exhibits uniquely combine more traditional and static collections of specimens and dioramas with the direct study of natural processes in the region. The regional processes of harvesting were all based on human behaviors of collecting and sorting. We began to see nature being continually reorganized and reformed by human activity. This museum type is an ideal location for the study of the overlap between natural and artificial processes.
